The NWLE Media Center is an inviting place with a great selection of books for students of all ages. The media center is equipped with computer stations for students to take Accelerated Reader tests and to access information on all topics of study. A video production room is also housed in the media center. The school's Electronic Bulletin Board is operated from this location, and Northwest Laurens News programs are filmed and produced on the state-of-the-art equipment in the video production room.

The NWLE gymnasium is an area of our school that is always bustling with activity. This fully-carpeted area is frequented by students of all ages throughout the day as a part of our physical education program. The fifth grade band utilizes the gym for morning practice sessions, and many after-school activities are held in this location. The gym is also home to many programs at Northwest Laurens (band concerts, special musical programs, etc.) because of its roominess and acoustics.

The playgrounds at Northwest Laurens are present because of the hard work and dedication of parents, staff, students, and community members in raising funds and, in many cases, providing precious time and energy. Playground areas are available for all grade levels to enjoy.

We are extremely thankful for and proud of all that we have here at Northwest Laurens Elementary School. We strive to provide our students with the best possible environment for learning to occur.
